Why a boat being pulled up a well in the river if the hole in its hull is watertight?
implies a damaged ship just barely floats in the ocean after a hole in its hull was sealed. It is pulled by a tug to the bank and into a river, heading towards a dry dock. As it is pulled up the river it flows. Why?
1 cubic foot of water fresh weight 62.38 pounds a cubic foot of salt water weight between 63.6 and 64.3 Salt water float a heavy object in one cubic foot container 1. Add the extra weight of water salt in the boat and the low carrying capacity of freshwater, the boat will sink. However, once the seawater has been diluted or replaced through fees, he may return to neutral buoyancy.
