What is a compound bow and why should I know?

Holles Wilbur Allen invented the compound bow in 1967 in his home state of Missouri. This arc pulleys and cables that form a leverage system to bend the legs or extremities of the arc. The longbow, also known as the recurve bow, has members who are much more flexible than the bow sheave.
