If you are allergic to bee stings, it could be allergic to jellyfish or fire coral?

My son is severely allergic to bee stings. He must make a hypo with him for safety. If we dive in a foreign country far from medical care, we must take special precautions? If yes, what precautions?

Any Clearly, he had an anaphylactic reaction known, then it should make several Epi-pens and Benadryl (antihistamine orally) with him at any time, including when traveling abroad, and everyone should travel with him to know where they are and how to use them in emergencies. Make sure to aware of the dangers local marine, how to recognize and how to treat them. Talk to your doctor or allergist about other precautions to take based on where you go what you might encounter (ie antibiotics for rays, update your vaccine against tetanus, etc..) Consider additional travelers' health insurance, including coverage for air ambulance services, depending on your health insurance present and where you go. This is particularly important in more isolated areas (ie, Andros Island, Bahamas) or serious hazard zones (ie box Jellyfish in Australia). Wherever you travel, discuss any allergies with the divemaster in advance, their familiarity with local hazards Diving and training and emergency plans. If you are not satisfied with their answers, to seek another group to dive with. Always be aware the location of the nearest facility that can treat severe allergic reactions, keep the directions with you, and have an exact translation of Medicine because of his medical needs in the local language that you can show to doctors (call your local hospital to help them find translation services) Be prepared to treat jellyfish sting like an allergic reaction occurs when an injection, leave the water, if any standing medications, and observing closely.

Trailer Needs Engine

what needs to be done once I take my boat and trailer out of saltwater?

flushing engine, washing and the trailer bearings ? is saltwater harmful to my boat it’s only been in freshwater?

You’ve answered your own question and hit everything right on the head. The key is to remove the salt residue from the trailer, boat and internal components of the engine as soon as you possibly can.

Our boat is operated mainly in freshwater but excursions into saltwater happen frequently. As long as you give her a really good cleaning and solid flushing you’ll be good to go. If you don’t though the price to pay will be high. We had a friend who bought a boat that had been on the Chesapeake Bay that had not been properly cared for. At issue was pitting of anything metal, spark plugs that were rusted solid into the block, etc and all from the saltwater and air. Cost for engine repairs ran into the thousands.

Just remember…wash her down and you’ll spare the grief down the road!

First Year

The freedom of New Year's Resolutions

So we have another in January ahead of us, ready to wipe the slate this year, more or less clean.

Remember almost a year ago, in the early days of the first month, remember how it felt? Since you had this mound lot of time lying before you, like a huge piece of molded clay UN-cool? … Remember that feeling of potential?

"Wow, a whole year, you may have whispered to yourself." Why, I might be able to do something with it. This year'll be different. "

Remember that?

… during this year was new and virgin and promising … when still felt wonderful?

That was in January, and you were impatiently. But now it's December, so we will look back to the same year.

Do the pictures match? Are they even close? How many of these broad but vague expectations happened? What you done to make this year?

This is not a rhetorical question … I'm actually reached a point here … many, in fact.

Remember back on your life, every time a new year has begun. Recall how optimistic and hope that you felt in front of each new calendar. Then remember how you felt the same year that you removed the last two days.

Item 1:

We always try to time (and our place in it) differently, depending on whether we are looking forward or backward. Do – STEP 1:

Viewpoint by … Make a short list of things that you were kind of hope, back past January, this year could understand for you.

DO THIS – Step 2:

Point of view to the rear … Now, briefly list what you actually managed to do during that year. Moreover, this is not the time for self-punishment. Do not be hard on yourself just because you do not suddenly turn into a machine work superhuman this year. Be good to yourself and write things you do that were cool, or important or special to you somehow.

Note this year has had nice things in it. (Ah yes … it again.)

ITEM 2:

The purpose of this exercise is rather simple to learn recognize and use both points of view.

Do – STEP 1:

Turn to this coming new year. Think of all those days and months ahead of you, all the things you could do this year.

Feel something?

This is before wave, the thought of hope that you used for each year until now.

Do – STEP 2:

Now you've got this new coming year in the crosshairs, do something totally different.

In your mind, go to the end of the year, about 30 or 31 December.

And this time, instead of looking back to the year with feelings of regret and loss of opportunity, do something new.

Start the salting of the year with good memories. Imagine that you are looking back on this year is not yet arrived, and claim that it happened. Imagine that you are recalling some of your accomplishments. Some commercial successes. The good times with family and friends.

ITEM 3:

You already have two distinctly different views and feelings about each year you already lived.

One view is soft and vague. And in your own experience, it is inaccurate.

The other point of view, however, is accurate. You may have shown some disappointment or regret, but it is associated in your mind with straight, precision bubble. Nothing mellow about this second point of view.

We will use this view to the rear, with its high sense of precision, to implement the expectations of year-end.

Do – STEP 1:

Get a pad of paper and a pen, then move somewhere where you will not be interrupted for some time. Sit back … Nice and relaxed. Spend enough time on this stage that you will not be nervous or mood to argue with you.

The do – STEP 2:

Imagine it is December 31 this year. And imagine that you're looking back, assessing things you did on the past "12 months.

Is there a family member that you would like to be the closest? Is there a company you want to establish? What is your income? Really hope you can marry? Remarry? Adopt?

Here's your chance to imagine that all these very good things really happened at the end of the year.

Just run the "events" in your mind, and feel all the appropriate emotions. Get the most out of memory "as detailed as the ones you already have other years.

Spend a little sharpness in real time up, and the feeling of pride of accomplishment, the joy of connecting, to the triumph of wonderful things This year – at the end. Finally, you put a year to good use, and you are enveloped in a warm glow of how you reached this year … one year unlike all those before.

This year, you're proud of what you have done.

Do – STEP 3:

Now Take notes on your accomplishments. This is not a journal entry – it notes, phrases and keywords you will use to help you to replay these scenes again all year.

You see, you will not go through this exercise once. No, you will examine once every few days, perhaps every week or so, just to stay in touch with what's in this year. Remember, they are always framed recalling memories as you December 31.

And please, please, do not look at these notes of yours and call them resolutions. They are nothing of Trier.

And they are not objective.

These are notes you made while you look back over the year. These notes tell you the facts – they know what happened during the year.

Did you this? In your mind, they are already done. You have already accomplished.

In addition, they are anchored in your mind with the same feelings of precision that you always feel when you look back at past events.

CONCLUSION:

Now you are ready to free yourself from the tyranny of resolutions, which are useless anyway, because we always do from the soft, vague perspective of looking towards the future.

In Instead, you just create a checklist of year-end. And when you get to December 31 th next year, you'll have the pleasure of running down that checklist and compare it with what actually happened.

But do not be surprised when you find that you have done more you put on your checklist season.

In what year were first electronic factory installed on cars and trucks?

I know that some electronic components have been installed in the 1970s. I also know the first parts to be used and the mark of the first car they were installed. In addition, I would like to know when the trucks were first equipped electronic parts and the first year. Please, no guessing. If you do not know, please do not answer. Thank you. I asked the factory electronics of the first year have been installed on U.S. cars and trucks. I America said no, but I asked for the first year. Please try to answer the question.

William A. Keleher : Getting Personal

William A. Keleher : Getting personal

The people of New Mexico may have heard of an individual named William A. Keleher. But I highly doubt if they know the real Keleher, because you can only know this truly amazing person with deep contemplation. In this article, I will try my level best to tell you about William Keleher, at least as much as I have learnt about him after extensive research and study. Please read on.

William Aloysius Keleher (1886-1972), was the offspring of David and Mary Ann Gorry Keleher. Three years after his birth, the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he enrolled at St. Mary’s Parochial School. Unfortunately, he could not complete the eighth grade when family needs forced him to drop out of school in 1900. Poor William had to work in order to help support his beloved family. He began his working life as a messenger for the Western Union telegraph company. He was promoted from a counter clerk to a telegraph operator, owing to his merit and skills. The following years saw him trying various jobs, never settling in a particular field. In this period of time, he worked in Bluewater Development Company and the board of education situated locally. A few years later, he was accepted by Washington and Lee University as a special student. He studied law and graduated in an impressive two years’ time (1915). The same year, he returned to Albuquerque to practice law. Eventually, he founded one of the largest law firms in the state (Keleher & McLeod) that would be named after him and his partner, A. Howard McLeod.

The firm (Keleher & McLeod), where Keleher devoted himself fully in the practice of law still runs strong today after so many years. As a matter of fact, it is perceived as one of the oldest and reliable law firms in New Mexico. Three of Keleher’s sons, William, Michael and Thomas are still affiliated with the firm.

William Keleher’s collection, not surprisingly, is situated in UNM since all of his children attended UNM for their degree. Moreover, many of Keleher’s grandchildren are studying or have studied there. It was in 1968 when this University offered Keleher an honorary degree. He gave an emotional birthday speech at its Alumni Chapel in 1962.
The family papers of Kelehers contain information on his wife and four sons. Information about Keleher’s family and siblings were also divulged by these papers. Also found was the Kelehers’ involvement in the fundraisers’ community and their ownership of different Albuquerque properties (most notably Altura Addition, Altura Shopping Center, Buena Vista Heights Addition, Huning Castle Addition, Mandell Business and Residence Addition).

In my opinion, Keleher lived his life to the fullest. Strictly speaking from Maslow’s theory of needs concept, Keleher reached the pinnacle as a human being which may sound really fascinating owing to the fact that he was a high school dropout. His accomplishments are sky-high and I can assure you, very few individuals soared to such heights in their span of life. The New Mexico Bar Association named Keleher one of the outstanding lawyers of the century in the year of 2000. He was also a news reporter, widely known author and a historian. University of New Mexico awarded him two honorary degrees. It is still not known to many that he was the attorney of Elfego Baca, a popular figure in New Mexico in the 1900s. Some of the most high-quality works on the Southwest were engendered by him. Books like “Maxwell Land Grant,”, “Fabulous Frontier”, “Turmoil in New Mexico”, “Violence in Lincoln County” and “Memoirs” are more than enough to prove his excellence in the fields he worked in. Zimmerman Library received the whole collection of William Keleher’s books and archive of papers/manuscripts, which would someday divulge more amazing works of the great man. William A. Keheler lived in Albuquerque for eighty four years and passed away at the age of eighty six in 1972, but he left his memories, achievements and most importantly, inspiration to his descendants and the people of New Mexico. Men of such league do not grace the earth very often. It is an honor to have someone like W.A. Keleher in New Mexico.
