Here on the Internet is the best place to look. I would recommend a good alum. Jon punt. With 4-6 people fishing from a boat to me that many people in a small fishing boat. Be sure to get a good range, the higher the better. This makes it more stable. 4 people, perhaps a 14 feet, nor I recommend at least 16 feet. Some boats have Jon shorter sides, they are for ponds, be sure to get one with the parties profound, they are for lakes and reservoirs. (There are people with big boats suddenly wakes large marshes and could you, so be careful) I started with a 12 foot deep V LoneStar, approached a 20ft Champion w/225 through several boats. Now I'm back to Starcraft 14ft deep V. I prefer 18ft A16-Sim-IV myself. Even in 20 feet of two people fishing in the same time seemed to be crowded. Would prefer a welded rivieted on, if buying a rivieted or any boat used be sure to put on water for a few minutes to see if it leaks. Hope it helps. Have fun fishing, I like!
